Course 1 - Itinerary
The itinerary below provides a guide to the journey we will take together. As each class develops differently, some activities may be adapted to support student progress and ensure course completion. Students seeking their Mentorship Certificate (joining all three courses) will be invited to complete short knowledge exercises between classes. For those attending course one, purely for enjoyment and development, these knowledge work after-class activities are optional.

Week 1 – Foundations and Atmosphere
(3 Hours)
Aim: 2 guided painting projects
Lecture Presentation
Understanding watercolour and its place within spiritual art.
Basic materials, setup, spirit prep, washes, layering, and creating atmosphere.
Discovering gentle correction and lifting techniques

Week 2 – Developing Control and Confidence
(2½ Hours)
Aim: 5 guided painting projects
Review of previous work and student progress.
Understanding water flow, colour harmony and brush handling.
Exploration of a variety of foundational painting approaches.
Guided landscape project painting studies to strengthen technique and observation.
Weekly knowledge work and creative practice.

Week 3 – Expression and Creativity
(2½ Hours)
Aim: 3 guided painting projects
Review and feedback session.
Exploring movement, mood and artistic expression.
Developing freedom and spontaneity in watercolour.
Creative exercises designed to encourage confidence and individuality.
Observation-based painting challenge.
Weekly knowledge work.

Week 4 – Intuition and Symbolic Art

Aim: 3 guided painting projects
Guided meditation and creative preparation.
Review of students' artwork.
Introduction to intuitive approaches and symbolic imagery.
Practical painting experiences combining creativity with interpretation.
Observation challenge and consolidation of previous learning.

Week 5 – Celebration and Course Review

Aim: 2 guided painting projects

The Watercolour foundation course. Simplified for complete beginners. You may build on your foundational skills as you explore ink-and-wash techniques for spirit guides, nature studies, and expressive spirit portraiture. Develop confidence in edge control, tonal contrast, loose line work, atmosphere, and combining pen with flowing watercolour.
Each VIP student will earn additional private group session time for personal feedback
If you are unable to attend Course 2 dates, book a Course 2 Private 1:1 session with Anne-Marie to move to Course 3.
Course 3
Expressive Portraiture Watercolour for Spirit Artists
Dates: 06 March to 10 April 2027 (Saturdays)
Times: 7 pm - 9.30 pm UK Time
Skill Investment: £325 / Instalments Accepted
An intermediate-level course to activate the inner artist by focusing on expressive portraiture, spirit animals, and intuitive painting techniques. Explore layering, glazing, mood, abstraction, colour harmony, and emotional storytelling as you develop your own artistic voice and style.
If you are unable to attend Course 3 dates, book a Course 3 Private 1:1 session with Anne-Marie to gain the Certificate (on the proviso that Courses 1 + 2 have been completed in class or as a private 1:1 session).
